WOW! Today a year ago. It is amazing to see how fast time flies. And the older you get and of course when you have children it seems to fly by even faster. I look at my girls today and am amazed at how much they have grown.
I remember this!! I had went to use the bathroom and came back in and Emily had dumped the whole box of cheerios on Bella's Excersaucer and they both threw it all over the living room!!! HAHAHA. Bella was just shy of 9 months old here.
One of the few times I could get Emily to sit still for a pic! She had to be asleep. She was 2.5 in this picture and Daddy was deployed to Afghanistan. I miss this special time I had with my girls and wish too Ted could have been here to see it. He has missed a lot of the girls firsts but such is the life of a military family.
My gorgeous girls now. Isabella is now 2 days shy of 21 months and Emily is 3.5 years old
Thank you Lord for my little blessings!
Verse of the Day:
"For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. " I Corinthians 3:9
Me and the girls had a blast yesterday afternoon and evening with my bestie when she came down from PA for a visit! As you know her husband has been medically retired from the Air Force and she moved away. Thankfully for me, she is only 2 hours away. We had a great time shopping at Gymboree (our favorite store) and then went out to eat at Perkins. I was able to get Emily some clothes for the summer for cheap. I am not on the prowl for great winter deals for her.
Ted went to the after hours clinic just off base yesterday sick. They ended up giving him antibiotics and giving him quarters for 2 days. Just in time for our anniversary! Great! We will be celebrating 12 years tomorrow and have a date planned for Saturday afternoon, hopefully. That is pending I or the girls do not get sick. Things are crazy for the next few weeks so I am not sure when we would be able to go out again.
As far as my diet goes I am doing okay I guess. I had hit another big stall so for the past 3 days I have been trying something. Yesterday was the last day of that and today I am back on track. I know I said that yesterday but I extended my experiment out one day. I am hoping this works!!!
Nothing planned for today really. I do have a Dr's appointment at 11:30 and then I NEED to hit up the commissary. Isabella is out of diapers and Emily needs pull ups. I am also going to get some stuff to make homemade chicken noodle soup for Ted. I also need some more fruit and veggies for my diet. I am running low.
This is Thankful Thursday and as always I want to thank God for my girls. I also want to thank Him for my husband who has always taken care of us and for my family as well. I miss them so much. I have 2 of the best parents in the world. God is good ALL OF THE TIME. He always knows what is best for us even though we may not see it at the time.
I am off of here for now. As always, I hope everyone has a blessed day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me."
