Scripture Passage of the Day: "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him" John 14:1-7
Hello everyone! Sorry I am posting a little later than usual. Things have just been crazy the last few days. My youngest, Isabella is sick with what I think are allergies. She has been cranky and croupy. I am 95% sure it is not in her chest and am hoping it will pass soon. Me, well, it is that time of the month!!! UGG! The joys of being a woman. In spite of it though I am still down 8.4 pounds since I started my diet on the 24th! I am just so pleased with the results. I thought for sure I would gain or just not loose with me bing on my cycle, but not the case. YAY!
Not too much going on, not because it wasn't planned, but because Bella has been sick. I have had to cancel the Miche Bag party this week end, but am still having the going away dinner for my bestie, Luxury Living Frugal Style. One of the sad things about the military is saying good bye to some really awesome people. She is one of the best and has one of the best hearts! I LOVE YOU GIRL! You are going to be missed. I still have some awesome friends here and am making many more.
The diet is going well as you can see by my progress above. I am very very pleased with the results. You can keep track of my progress in the diet progress tab at the top of the page. It keeps track of what I eat and how much I loose each day.
Well, I am off of here for now. As always I hope everyone has a blessed day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do ALL things through CHRIST which strengthenth me." God Bless!
I am going to make it brief today because I have too much to catch up on. I have lost another 1.8 pounds since yesterday morning so I am up to 7 pounds lost since Friday!! YAY!!!!! Ted had a football game yesterday and won yay again. Me and the girls were not able to go because Bella is sick :( She woke up with a croupy cough so I have made her an appointment with her pediatrician just to be on the safe side. I am still thinking it is allergies. I sure DO NOT want to cancel the plans I have this week end! Like I said brief today but I will be back on tomorrow.
As always I hope everyone has a blessed day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through CHRIST which strengthenth me."
This is an awesome site that will allow you to order 4 FREE HotBooks a month!! I said FREE!! It is awesome. I have taken advantage of this several times and it is a great way to send pictures of the kiddos to family members or to your military spouse when he is deployed. I did one for every month Ted was gone to Afghanistan so he did not miss out on the girls activites. Check it out! Also the more you pay for the more free products they will offer you! It is legit!
Well, my wonderful hubby will be joining me on the HCG diet tomorrow so I will be keeping track of his progress on here as well. He is doing a 3 week phase though and I am doing a 42 day phase. He starts the drops and day 1 of his gorge days tomorrow! Wish him luck :)
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." II Chronicles 7:14
Well day one of the 500 cal portion of the diet is done. When I went to my friend's house on Friday night I weighed myself. I went back over to pick up some things and she gave me the scale since she is moving and doesn't need it and I weighed myself again when I got back home and I am down 5.2 pounds since Friday night!!!!! WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!! This diet is a bit hard. It is very strict. Normally I do not eat a lot anyway, BUT I found myself hungry all day yesterday! I mean really! I am wondering if it is Psychosomatic? For breakfast I had herbal tea sweetened with Stevia, for morning snack I had an apple, for lunch I had grilled shrimp and asparagus, for afternoon snack I had some strawberries sweetened with Stevia, and for dinner I had a taco salad (HCG approved of course)! Now I am a firm believer in NOT going to be bed hungry so I saved my 2 carbs (Melba toast or Grissini) for about an hour before bedtime. I was taught by a nutritionist NOT to go to bed hungry and about 30 minutes before bed eat a very healthy snack (not ice cream people) I was told your body can go into starvation mode and it can prevent you from loosing weight at a steady rate. I lost 136 lbs doing that before and I WILL continue to do it with his diet unless I gain 50 pounds LOL. If I can endure the actual hunger pains for a few more days I KNOW I can make it and I WILL loose. Thanks to everyone backing me up and supporting me and I KNOW I cannot do this with out GOD's help! I am looking forward to the rest of my journey! I WILL be small again dang it!
On another note, it is a gloomy day outside and with gloomy days for me comes a gloomy mood. Oh well! I think my Isabella is getting sick too. She has been up and now all night coughing like she has something draining. I am pretty sure it is allergies, but I am going to keep a close eye on her anyway.
Not too much planned for today really. I have to help a friend get her house ready for final inspection tonight and then I need to drop off Emily's paperwork to get her on the waiting list for preschool. It depends on how Bella is feeling. I still need to get this house back in order too! I am so behind on everything! I have no motivation at all. I am just so tired all of the time lately. I have a Miche Bag party Friday so it has to be spotless by then. Pics and info about the Miche Bag will be posted over the week end by the way :)
Well, I am off of here for today! As always have a blessed day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through CHRIST which strengthenth me."
Okay blog hopping today I came across a site similar to paypal that is trying to get off the ground. I AM NOT sure if they will actually pay BUT it is worth a try right? You are not entering any personal information and will get $50 just for signing up as well as $5 for every person you refer. There is also money you can earn every day by doing different things. You have to log in every day to keep the account active. Since this is a new site I am not sure if they actually pay!
The name of the company is called PayBox Check it out. You have nothing to loose right?

Well first of all Happy Monday everyone! Today is the first day of the 500 cal portion of my diet and my rear end still does not have a scale!! UGG! I keep leaving it at my friends house. I WILL go get it today! So far so good though. I got up and took my HCG drops like I have been doing for the past 3 days and after a bit of blog hopping am now drinking my tea! I was a bit hungry this morning but it quickly passed. Today is the first day on my journey to a better me :)
Not too much more going on today. I THINK Ted has a football game this evening so as long as it isn't raining that is where we will be tonight. I do have to go over at some point and pick up some stuff from my bestie and help her to get her house ready for final inspection on the 29th. And then there is the cleaning and laundry in my house that has to be done by Friday! I am having a Miche Bag party. I will be posting Saturday all about the party and will tell you all about the Miche Bag then. LOVE THEM!
Look for some great giveaways sometime this week.
I am off of here for now. I hope everyone has a blessed Monday and fantastic rest of the week and as always remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me."
Verse of the Day: Mark 10:27 (KJV) And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Hello all! Happy Saturday! Doing very well this morning. I woke up with a bit if a migraine but have got it down to a very dull roar thankfully. Emily slept until 8:15 AM! YAY! I think it is getting better. Not too much going on today. I HAVE to go to the grocery store and make a run to Wal Mart at some point to get my food scale. I STILL need my weight scale and a tape measure. Dumb me forgot it last night when I went to help Midget Momma load up her truck :'( She is such a treasure and I am going to miss her like crazy. I know she is only going to be 2 hours away but she is no longer going to be just right down the road :( She was my shopping buddy and always can find a great deal. Check out her website!
Oh, I have a Dove Chocolate Party to go to this evening. I am so looking forward to it as it is day 2 of my 3 load days! Down to the nitty gritty on Monday though. I am looking forward to it believe it or not.
Well I am off of here today. As always, I hope everyone has a very blessed day and fun filled week end. Always remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do ALL things through CHRIST which strengthenth me."

Well, today is the day I start my HCG diet! I am so excited. I took my drops this morning. 22 under the tongue and held them for 5 minutes then swallowed. Today, Saturday, and Sunday are my load days so bring on all the good stuff I normally do not eat anyway. HAHAHA! Tomorrow I have a Dove Chocolate Party, oh my and Sunday is a Tastefully Simple Party! What a better way to end the 3 load days right? Monday is serious though. I start the 500 cal portion of the diet. Check out my Helpful Links tab for more info on the diet. I still have yet to get a food scale and weight scale. I am getting the weight scale from a friend and going this week end to get my food scale. Since I do not have a weight scale I was unable to weigh this morning. I will have one by tomorrow morning though so I am waiting to take my measurements and weigh then. I will keep everyone posted on my progress and will be taking pictures so you can see it for yourself.
Enough about dieting. Nothing much planned this morning. We are headed over this evening to help my bestie load her moving truck. I hate the military sometimes and how they make you say goodbye to people you love and care about. One of the downsides to being a military wife.
Ted had a game yesterday and they won. YAY!
They were doing bad at this point and the coach was giving them what for
They were doing well at this point
Emily playing with her friends

First of all check out the other blog post for today and download your FREE copy of the Pampered Chef Celebrity Cookbook!
Okay, not much going on today really. Emily has a Dr's appointment at 12:50 and I am picking up her paperwork for the township at the same time. Speaking of I need to call the school board and set up a time to drop of her paperwork. Oh, and Emily slept until 8:20 this morning!!!! YAY!!! I slept really well last night, thank the good Lord. Okay back on target, as stated earlier, not too much going on today. Just the appointment really then back home for more cleaning. Ted has another game tonight, but I think me and the girls are going to sit this one out. It stormed last night and so everything is going to be icky.
I start my HCG diet tomorrow!! YAY!!! I am looking forward to it! I have lots planned this week end for my load days. Tomorrow I am helping a friend load her moving truck :'( Not looking forward to that, but we are having pizza! Then Saturday is a Dove Chocolate Party!!! YUMMO! Then Sunday is a Tastefully Simple Party :) Now Monday is when I will start the strict portion of the diet and I will need to do a shopping trip before then. I want, at the very least, my pre Bella weight back. I am going to feel good again darn it.
Ted had a game last night (no pics this time) and they got stomped! Yes I said, "got stomped." LOL I am from down south, cut me some slack. He played the CRW! His old stomping grounds I guess I should say.
I need people's thoughts on me paying to take a Dave Ramsey Course. It is $100 and is a series of different classes. My sister says not to pay someone to teach you how to save, but I need to know how to budget and save money!!! I have NEVER read or heard anyone say they regretted taking the class or paying to take it. I am NOT good at budgeting and I will be the first to tell you and own up to my mistakes. Any thoughts??? Check out the link above and go over what is taught BEFORE you tell me your thoughts.
Well, I am off of here for today. As always, I hope everyone has a blessed day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me." I am going to be needing to recite this verse over and over again over the next 6 weeks. God Bless everyone!

Verse of the Day: "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
Emily slept from 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM! YAY!!! My rear end didn't get in the bed till almost 1 though so I am tired but this time it is my fault :) Not much planned for today really. Ted took the van so he could put air in the tires. Me and the girls are just going to hang out here at home and be lazy. Well, maybe a little cleaning ;) And of course naps.
Ted has another game today at 5:30 which Emily is already looking forward to. Next Wednesday I am going to start taking the girls to AWANA on base while I go to Bible Study! Hoping it is something both the girls and me will enjoy.
Well, 2 more days until I start my diet!!!!!! YAY!!!! I am going grocery shopping over the week end for the strict part of my diet and on the load days I have a few things planned. One of them being a Dove Chocolate Party! YUMMO!!! I also have to help my bestie move on Friday! :'( Oh girl, you are going to be greatly missed!
Okay my ramblings for today. First off I want everyone to know that NO ONE influences who I am friends with but the person with whom I am friends! In other words just because one friend doesn't like another I am not going to stop being friends with them! That is so 3rd grade! We are supposed to be adults and let me tell you, most military wives are the most juvenile people I have EVER been around! "I don't like her because she expresses her opinion around me", I don't like her because she is ugly", blah blah blah! Just shut up! Really! Grow up!!! I am tired of it. I am 32 friggin years old!!!! And quit friggin running your mouth to people telling them how much everyone hates you or doesn't like you! Start evaluating why EVERYONE is acting like that!!! I KNOW the Bible says to treat others as you would want to be treated and I will BUT I will not be a door mat so in order not to be a door mat I have to part company with those individuals and I have and will! Just grow up ladies! Really! Stop whining and do something about how you feel about yourself. Our husbands are in the military and we have to accept that and ALL that comes with it! Sorry for being so harsh, I swear I am not a mean person, but I can only take so much. I am a great friend and a horrible enemy. You can talk about me all you want as long as it doesn't do harm to my family or friends. You start involving them then me and you are going to have a problem. Okay, I am done with this little problem. No more blunt posts about it. All good things from now on, I hope.
I am off for today and as always I really do hope that everyone has a blessed day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me."
Verse for the Day: Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. Psalm 5:8
Well, My Emma Bug was up at 5:30 AND then up again at 6:36! Oh my! Thankfully she laid with me in my bed until around 8ish so I am not too terribly tired this morning.
I have a dental appointment this morning to have the temporary cap put on my tooth so I am hoping that does not hurt as bad as last time. I am so not looking forward to it. Other than my dental appointment, nothing else planned for today. I NEED to get this house cleaned. I just have no motivation. I have been so tired with Emily getting up multiple times at night and then getting up so darn early. It is wearing on me. I am hoping and praying it is just a phase she is going through.
I am going to ramble for a bit. There are these people that like to meddle in my marital life and when I get upset about it they claim, to my husband anyway, that they are just trying to help! I mean seriously, what exactly are you trying to help do? Make things with my marriage bad? Well so anyway I am still very upset at them but I am trying to let things go and it is one particular person in the family that has been known to exaggerate A LOT that won't! What, do I threaten you? Are you upset because I am not going anywhere? What I cannot tolerate are people that don't own up to their mistakes! They look around them and wonder why they are all alone. They claim to have done no wrong doing and that everyone is just ganging up on them. Please people, if EVERYONE is doing it then maybe you need to evaluate yourself! Now my fault in certain situations is treating people like I have been treated rather than doing as God commanded and treating others as I would want to be treated. Thank God Christ does not treat us as we treat Him. That is one of my many faults. I am not perfect but what I pride myself in is not putting my nose where it doesn't belong and if I do I expect to be told and WILL NOT get upset. Now I am talking about multiple situations. People do need to keep their noses out of other people's business unless they are asked for advice and to quit looking at only one side of the story. I WILL NOT tolerate liars and when I find out you have been lying to my face I am done!! What I am going to strive to do from this day forward is not to entertain gossip no matter how true it may be. I am going to live my life and ignore all the ignorant people. I am not going to let people in other states affect my moods or my relationship with my husband. I am not going to let people tell me I am in the one in the wrong when I know it was not me who started it in the first place. I am going to start focusing on my relationship with Christ and my family ONLY! The people that love me take me for what I am which is a person who speaks their mind and will tell you if I have a problem with you. What you choose to do with what I tell you is on you! I have done my part. As far as people in other states, I am done! If they want a relationship with my girls or me they will apologize for lying and trying to start trouble. Now if my husband chooses to have a relationship with them , that is on him. Do I like it? No, however, he is an adult and I would like to think anyway he knows what he is doing. Okay enough rambling :)
What about my new blog layout? Isn't it amazing??? If you need anything done at all you need to contact Dezinesbymerr! She is amazing and has awesome prices. She is a TSgt in the Air Force and is fair and honest!! I personally know her and she is amazing!
On a happy note, Ted won his football game. He ended up getting a penalty for ripping some guy's shorts to shreds. Shame on you Ted.
Ted cheering. They scored a touch down. He is #12
Adorable Huskies someone brought! They have blue eyes!
Bella watching daddy play football. Emma wouldn't stand still for a pic
I start my diet Friday! YAY! We are also helping one of my besties move that day. :'( I am going to miss her to pieces! One of the downsides to being a military wife is saying good bye to fabulous friends!
I am off for today and as always, I hope everyone has a blessed day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me."
Verse of the day: For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for my name's sake lead me, and guide me." Psalm 31:3
Oh man oh man. It is Monday. The start of a new week. Same ole same ole! Oh well, thank the good Lord that I can enjoy my girls and husband. Emma slept a little better last night. She still woke me up at 6 AM because Bella was moving around in her crib. I am just so friggin tired. I feel like I have an infant at home! Things are going to have to change and quick because I cannot do this anymore.
Anyway, Ted has a football game this evening and I have a dental appointment tomorrow. YAY! NOT! Not much planned today. We are going to just hang out here and clean clean clean and hopefully get a quick cat nap! (yeah right)
I start the diet Friday! Getting amped up! I am off for the day. As always, I hope everyone has a great day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me."
Verse of the day: "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24
Today has been pretty laid back. Spent time here at home mostly. Me and Isabella went to the commissary this afternoon while Ted and Emily went down to the lake for a bit. It started out cool today but warmed up pretty quickly. Fall is in the air :)
This getting up multiple times with Emily in the middle of the night is taking its toll. I am at my wits end! I am at a loss as of what to do until we get the office finished that is. UGGGG!!! Speaking of Emma, Ted has here in there watching The Dark Crystal. LOL!
Yesterday was fun! I went out with some great friends to eat at Olive Garden and then over to Gymboree for some great deals on some clothes for Emma. Always find great deals when I am with Midget Momma. Head on over to her blog for some fantastic money saving deals.
I am getting excited for Friday! I start my diet!! YAY! I am looking forward to having more energy. I still have to go and get my food scale and a friend is giving me a digital scale. I am going out sometime this week to get the food I will be needing for the strict part of the diet. The first 3 days are my load days and I can eat whatever I want.
Well, off to spend some time with the family! As always, everyone have a great day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me."
It is finally Saturday! Tomorrow is my day I get to sleep in, I HOPE! I am having lunch with some of my favorite ladies this afternoon and then nothing planned after that but cleaning the house. I had a rough night with Emily. I am at my wits end with her and have no clue what to do to keep her in her bed.
On a happier note, I got some of the things I ordered to start my diet yesterday via UPS. Almost ready to start it. I still have to get a food scale and a weight scale and then grocery shopping for the hard portion of the diet on one of my 3 load days. I am really looking forward to it. I will be posting a before picture very soon.
Well, I am off to enjoy my week end. I hope everyone has a blessed day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do ALL things through Christ which strengthenth me."
Random verse of the day: "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
The joys of having nothing to do outside the house!!! Now inside the house is a totally different story. My oh my I am so behind on everything. It is crazy. This week end will be filled with getting everything caught up like it or not. I do have a lunch date planned on Saturday with a couple of friends, but other than that I am free. (Note to self: Tell hubby I am going out to lunch on Saturday with friends and he has to watch the girls.)
Ted's football game was canceled last night due to a nasty thunderstorm. We so needed the rain though. I was able to complete my mystery shops and stopped at Wal Mart on the way back to get wipes.(we were out).
Well, one week from today I start my diet! YAY!!! Oh that is another thing I have to do this week end. Get a food scale and a weight scale. I will have to get it while I am out Saturday.
Okay, enough blabbering on and on about nonsense. As always, I hope everyone has a great day and remember, Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me."
Random verse of the day:
Psalm 32:2, "Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile."
Yesterday was CRAZY! Me and the girls left the house at 9:20 AM and didn't get back home until 8:30 PM. First was my root canal. Oh my, the pain! Not near as bad today though :), then I had to pick the girls up from my friend's house and take them to their first dental appointment which went pretty good. Then it was to their pediatrician's office for flu shots and to drop off Emily's paper work she needs for pre school, then back to Midget Momma's for a bit THEN back home to pick up my husband for his football game. (they lost :( )
So after the football game we left to pick up my pain meds at CVS and Ted a hoagie at Wawa then finally back home for baths and bed!!! I slept pretty good last night thanks to Tylenol 3 ;) Not too much on the agenda today. Possible lunch with a friend and maybe some grocery shopping, but that is it. It is going to be laid back day for the most part. My mouth is much much better. The blinding pain only lasted for a few hours just as the dentist said. I am still soar but that is expected. I go back next week for the temporary cap.
Eight days and counting until I start my diet! YAY! I am so looking forward to it! I will be going shopping this week end for the food scale and weight scale I will need and will also be adding a list of things that are recommended to have for the diet.
Well enough blabbering on and on about nothing and everything. As always, I hope everyone has a blessed day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me."
Okay, so I have like 2 minutes before my super busy day starts! I picked up my HCG drops yesterday! YAY! I am almost ready! I still have to pick up a digital food and weight scale and some food to start it off and I am good to go.
Me and the girls have a super busy day ahead of us. I have a root canal at 10:30 which means I have to leave the house around 9:20 to drop the girls off with my best friend Midget Momma. Then after my root canal the girls have a dental appointment (their first one) in Moorestown, NJ which is about a 45 minute drive due to traffic. Then after their appointment I have to take Emily in for her flu shot and to drop off some paper work that needs to be turned in to the township so I can get her enrolled in Pre School. Then it is back to Midget Momma's for a mini party then at 5:30 start getting ready for Ted's football game tonight! I THINK that is it! I hope it is anyway. Lets hope my migraine does not come back full force. I have managed, thanks to the meds my Dr called in for me (Fioricet), to get it down to dull roar. Speaking of I need to call and make an appointment with her. Now tomorrow is not so busy. Just blood work I have to get done and I THINK that is it, oh no Ted's game at 5:30.
Erica Mahan Photography finished editing the rest of the girls pics. YAY! I went and picked them up yesterday and they are amazing! Here are a few more of my favorites.
Shoot, I so want to upload all of them so you can see how awesome she is but that would take too long LOL!
Well I am off for the day. I hope everyone has a blessed day and remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me."
