Happy Wednesday

"When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting." Proverbs 11:10

I am going to be working on a post tonight that will be going up tomorrow. There has been some uproar on people cheering for Bin Laden's death. Should we be rejoicing in his death or not? Yes and No. I will have scriptures to back my answer up :) Have a blessed Wednesday everyone.

Tuesday's Thoughts

Verse of the Day:
“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;” - Romans 12:12

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great Monday! Me and my Bells stayed home until we had to go and get Emma Bug from school. Now when DH got home we went to TGIFs to eat and the over to Home Depot to get some chicken wire poultry wire as it was labeled, excuse me, and dowels so he could start building the chicken coop.  For those of you who didn't read yesterday's post, my DH and Emma Bug went out Sunday to get some chickens. Egg laying chickens :) They should be laying by August according to the guy he bought them from.

Well, so anyway, then it was back home to put 2 very tired little girls to bed and watched Game of Thrones which is based off of George R.R. Martin's best selling, "A Song of Ice and Fire" series." I have never read the books but DH has and loved them so of course he has to watch the series. The only thing about it is, the nudity! Why on earth does HBO, Showtime, and Starz feel the need to put nudity in all of their shows!!! Some of the shows I have tried to watch, noticed I said tried, have full frontal nudity of both men and women!!!! Well, so far this one only shows the top half so I will deal and its not a whole lot. If you can get past that, it is actually a good show. There are actors like Mark Addy from Still Standing and A Knight's Tale (he played Roland) and Sean Bean from Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings. So if you like Medieval Fantasy this is the show for you.

Not too much planned today really. Me and Bells chillin' at home before we got to pick up Emma Bug at 3. Oh and just had to take a small break to put a roast in the crock pot for tonight. I think it is roast, potatoes, "macaponi" as Bella calls it and some corn! Speaking of corn, I cannot wait until NJ harvest!!!! THE ONE good thing about this state in which I am stuck, thanks to the military, is the produce! The fruit is like candy for real and the veggies are sweet and oh so good! Strawberries should be in soon too! It is heaven eating a NJ strawberry!!! You can't stop! I have never had a better strawberry! EVER! Okay enough jabbering.

Well, I guess I am done for today. I hope everyone has a very blessed Tuesday!

Manic Monday

Verse of the Day:
“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him 5:14-15

Last night about 10:30 I was wrapping some things up before I went to bed and decided to go to Fox News to check it out, I never do this, and saw the president was going to make a speech soon. I went and got my DH out of his office and told him and then went and turned on Fox News to wait. Now, I thought he was going to making a speech about Libya. So needless to say me, along with the rest of the world I am sure, was shocked to hear that we finally got Bin Laden! After almost 10 years we got him. I have mixed emotions about it really. I am glad we have finally put an end to HIS tyranny, but the war is far from over people! I am worried about what this is going to bring down on our soldiers over there. Am I glad he is dead? Heck yes! Don't get me wrong, but I think people are a bit premature in saying it is over. It is like the President said in his address last night about this being far from over! A friend of mine on Facebook found a blog post from an Army Spouse that really hit the nail on the head.  Head on over to The Army Wife (Dude) to check out his post. Needless to say my husband was thrilled and started calling everyone he knew. Please Please Please pray very hard for our men and women and uniform. Now more than ever!

On another note, things are going well here. A bit lazy last week, but hope to get caught up, if there is such a thing, on my housework over the next couple of days.

Yesterday my DH and my Emma Bug went out and bought chickens! Yes chickens. Baby ones. I have no clue what he thinks he is gonna do with them during the winter here in NJ BUT for now they are cute. He got them to lay eggs.
Sorry this is not a very good picture. It was taken with my cell phone.

Well, I am off for now. I hope everyone has a very blessed day!
