Verse of the Day:
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

Hello y'all! I hope everyone has had a good week so far. It has been a bit busy in our house lately. We celebrated my baby girl's bday on Saturday and had a blast. We had an amazing turn out and Sweet Cakes Bakery done an awesome job on her cake and it tasted amazing. I received lots of compliments on the cake. She also has an Etsy shop you can find here called Of Crust and Crumbs. Her stuff is truly amazing!

Bella adored her cake! She is obsessed with Dora so there was no other choice than to have a Dora themed party.
The Birthday Princess. "I so petty Mama."
Tutu and hair accessory was obtained at Tu-Tu Cutie. Check out their FB page for some really pretty Tutus for your little princess. They also have started selling legwarmers
 "Get your own cake."
Yummy!
She got lots of amazing presents and there were lots of kiddos here that kept her busy. I think everyone had a blast except for me who knew I was going to have to clean up afterwards LOL! J/K! I had a blast during the party. I had some fun activities planned for the kids, but they were so busy playing that the activity that was planned was sent home with them. Her party was a real success. Thanks to everyone for coming and for all her presents!

I Corinthians 13 For Woman..Thank you Internet Cafe Devotions

This was a post on a blog I love called Internet Cafe Devotions. You can find their website here! I wanted to give credit where credit is due. Have a blessed Thursday everyone.

If I live in a house that is spotless, perfectly in order,
and people are not free to LIVEbecause my home is more important than my family
I have not loveI have kept a house
I have not made a home.
If I spend an exorbitant amount of money on decorations
and care more about the appearance of my house
than the atmosphere of my home
I  have not love, and my children learn materialism, not godliness.
If I control my husband
responding in irritation to him,
finding only fault in him
and not seeking to build him up,
I have not loveand my children learn to disrespect their father
not to honor him
Love is patient – seeking to avoid conflict
Love is kind – seeking to be a blessing.
Love lays aside its “rights” to serve.
Love sees the comfort of another as more important than its own.
Love continually looks for ways to build  up.
Love is not critical, demanding or self seeking.
Love accepts the role that God has given
and sees it as a privilege, not a put down.
Love studies how to fulfill that role
in the most God glorifying way it can.
Before I was an adult I thought life revolved around me.
Then I took on the responsibilities of marriage.
Now I see that life revolves around others
and God’s glory!
All the expectations I had for my marriage
and my life
must fade away into insignificance.
What should remain is the gospel! The gospel reminds me of how full of grace and mercy God has been,
how full of grace and mercy I need to be,
and that I need to offer up my life
as a living sacrifice.
Now there abides in my home a husband and children,
and I am called to point them to Jesus
in all that I do,
I could seek to have my own way and my own comfort,
But the greatest thing of all
The most important thingis love
The love of God that I show them each day
a love that I am unable to show
unless He loves THROUGH me!

Westboro People (THEY ARE NOT A CHURCH) in Bordentown, NJ!!!!

Below is a story I found here! I am posting this for all my NJ friends. They are trying to get local people to form a blockade in front of these wack jobs to drown them out so the family will not have to hear them. Please read and pass on!

Fallen N.J. soldier faces one more battle

Westboro Baptist Church, an extremist group infamous for picketing military funerals and other events, intends to protest at the funeral of U.S. Army Spc. Benjamin Moore, a Bordentown City native who was killed in Afghanistan last week.
On Monday, the Topeka, Kan.-based group posted a flier titled "God Hates America & Is Killing Our Troops in His Wrath" on its website.
Calling military funerals "pagan orgies of idolatrous blasphemy," the church calls for a demonstration at Moore's funeral Saturday morning at Trinity United Methodist Church in Bordentown.
News of the protest was met with outrage and dismay from friends of Moore, who have moved quickly to organize counterprotests and demonstrations to shield Moore's family from the protests of the controversial group.
"More than anything, we just want a peaceful service for his family," said Jordan Kostoplis, a friend who attended Bordentown Regional High School with Moore.
A member of the 693rd Engineer Company out of Fort Drum, N.Y., Moore, 23, was one of three soldiers killed in an IED (improvised explosive device) attack in Afghanistan's Ghazni province on Jan. 12.
Family members say Moore, a private first class who was posthumously promoted to specialist, was driving a truck when the roadside bomb exploded.
A volunteer firefighter and certified emergency medical technician, Moore collected a slew of medals after joining the Army in April 2009, including the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart.
That service and dedication to country is what should be the focus at Moore's funeral, friends say.
Instead, they're now scrambling to figure out a way to block the anticipated presence of Westboro Baptist members. Armed with neon signs with slogans such as "Thank God for IEDs," the church, recognized widely as an anti-gay group, has protested at thousands of funerals, football games and other events.

Verse of the Day:

Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool. Proverbs 19:1

Hello y'all. I hope everyone has had a blessed day so far. Things have been pretty laid back here the last 2 days but that is not the case for the rest of the week. We are getting ready to celebrate my daughter's 2nd birthday. I can't believe it has been almost 2 years since she was born. It really does seem like yesterday. They grow up so fast.

This was minutes after she was born
The day we took her home
Getting her ready for her first trip out to eat. We went to Outback
Her first photo session (6 weeks old)
All ready for church

 Her first Easter

This was taken after her very first harvest festival. We don't celebrate Halloween :)
Her first snow
This was taken at her first birthday party that her daddy missed due to a deployment

This is my princess now!!

Looking back at pics, I am amazed at what I remember about each individual picture. Like when and where and why it was taken. I will be on and off for the next few days, but a very happy early birthday to my 2nd born little princess.
