Happy Veterans Day

Verse of the Day:
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." II Timothy 4:7-8

Hello everyone. I hope y'all are having a great week end. First of all I wanna thank all the military past and present for their service to this county. Your sacrifices are not overlooked. I want to thank my husband most of all. I love him and am very proud to be his wife.

Things have been going well here at this Air Force house. DH is currently in NCO Academy in AL and has 5 more weeks left. Sad that he is not going to home for Thanksgiving, but he is about 140 miles from my family in FL so he will have family to be with and I have some great friends coming over for Thanksgiving to keep me company. I will be posting recipes starting today until the day before thanksgiving and if you have a good one please share by  commenting below.

We had our very first family pictures taken by Erica Mahan Photography just a few weeks ago and they turned out great. She is a very talented Air Force wife. I have been using her since the Bug was 12 months old.

Needless to say I am extremely pleased with the pictures. Seeing as our little Bear is only 2 she is not the most cooperative little girl when it comes to pics, but Erica ALWAYS does such an outstanding job and is extremely talented. Just when I think nothing of the girls is gonna work for her, it always does. :)

Well while DH is gone I have been getting the house in order. Throwing things out that need to be thrown out and organizing. I am also getting things ready for Thanksgiving dinner here at the house with some great friends and then there is Christmas decorations and Christmas cards after Thanksgiving. Here are our Christmas cards that will be going out this year.

I will be posting a few recipes this week end so keep a look out. I hope everyone has a blessed day and thanks again to all of our military past and present.
